Polyester (PET), polystyrene (PS) and PLA (poly lactic acid, a film made of corn-waste) are utilized in the thermoforming of trays, alimentary or not, with or without a EVOH-barrier, with or without peeling effect.

Thicknesses here usually vary between 160 and 1500 μ.

When it comes to envelope- and carton-box-windowing, thinner PS- and PLA-films (15 – 75 μ) perfectly do the job.
